Morning Ritual

Hey there, you cool cats and kittens! Today I'm going to share with you how I wake up and start my day! Besides the obvious brushing of my teeth... I believe having a morning routine is very important. But I am referring to a morning ritual. Things that you do to set the tone of the day. Here are a few of mine:

Aubrei's Morning Ritual:

1. Drink a glass of water. (I put a glass of water next to my bed at night)
2. List 3 things that I am grateful for. (Gratitude Journal or said out loud)
3. Take 5 deep breaths. (4-7-8 technique)
4. Burn some sage.
5. Meditation = 10-15 minutes.
6. Write down goals for today.
7. Repeat intentions for the day out loud.
8. Eat a healthy breakfast.
9. Go for a walk, workout or do some yoga in the living room.
10. Smile. :) (You'd be surprised what practicing smiling just for a few minutes can do).
11. Channel positivity and do some tapping. (Click for more on tapping >>> Gala Darling )
12. Take a shower ya filthy animal.

Now.... you don't have to have a big list. Sometimes I only have a limited amount of time in my mornings and can only do a few. That's okay. There is no right or wrong to a morning ritual. It is all about what you're comfortable with and what you have time for. It took me a while to achieve and get in the habit of such a morning ritual and I don't do it in that order most mornings.

So there it is! I hope these simple tips were helpful and I look forward to sharing more of what I know with you again soon! Have a lovely Hump Day!

XOXO, Aubrei ❤
